The High-in-the-sky Rainbow

The high-in-the-sky rainbow
does nothing perfect
it just waits there quietly.

This is a semi-haiku: it is the same as a haiku, but the syllables are different: seven, five seven.
(Or some other sum that adds up to nineteen).

I like this semi-haiku Nory. I look forward to more of them.

Dear Nory,

I am so impressed and happy that you are writing poetry. How are you learning about sonnets and haiku? Do you have a poetry teacher? Have you learned about slant rhymes?
Your poems are a pleasure to read.
Love,
Aunt Kathy
